AL Jahili Castle

Built by Sheikh Zayed Khalifa AI Nahyan, Zayed the First, He entered it in 1898.

It was a summer residence for sheikh Zayed and a center for government during that time.

Inscribed are the two famous verses:

‘The door of goodness opens, in which happiness settled
Pride compliments said, erect a sturdy building praises Zayed bin Khalifa”
